I started out as a Civil Servant in Governance / Compliance / Audit roles and took my first security role as a Security Accreditation Officer, where my passion for security began… handling security risks and compliance within the Security Framework just excited me!
I then became a Security Consultant, delivering customer security services and this led me into leadership and my current role.
I do not have a degree (I do now have security qualifications), but it has never held me back from being successful!
There are so many aspects to security, not all are technical and you can find one that is right for you!
